Frozen

Banana

Ice Cream

I have a confession - I enjoy this “ice cream” multiple times a week. Because it's only two ingredients, this recipe is very easy to make…which makes it dangerous. It's the perfect amount of sweet to satisfy my craving in the afternoon - until dessert after dinner of course;)

Frozen Banana Ice Cream

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: none

Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, frozen

  • 4-6 tablespoons milk

Additional Ingredients

(Optional)

  • Cinnamon

  • Cocoa Powder

  • Peanut Butter

Instructions

  1. Break each frozen banana into 2 or 3 pieces.

  2. Place banana pieces in a blender or food processor. Pour in milk.

  3. Blend until smooth.

  4. Eat immediately or place in the freezer for several minutes for a firmer texture.

Recipe Notes:

This makes two bowls of ice cream. If one of the kids is not having the other one, I like to put it in the freezer for another time. Just let it sit out a few minutes to thaw a tiny bit before eating.
